Committees

Activities Committee

The Activities Committee plans activities designed to foster a greater sense of community at Parkfairfax.

Buildings and Utilities Committee

Advises and assists the Board of Directors by performing reviews and studies of those things related to the maintenance and integrity of the buildings; reviewing utility consumption and delivery; reviewing the provision of services by or on behalf of the Association; refining budgetary procedures and recommending cost efficient methods of usage and services.

Communications Committee

The primary responsibility of the Communications Committee is to maintain a flow of information between the Board of Directors, Management, and the unit owners and residents.

Covenants Committee

The primary responsibility of the Covenants Committee is to advise and assist the Board of Directors in monitoring and enforcing compliance by owners and residents with the provisions of the Condominium Instruments and the Book of Resolutions.

Landscape Committee

To advise and assist the Board of Directors in developing and administering an ongoing program to preserve and enhance the Parkfairfax Condominium in regard to maintenance of an improvements to the grounds.

Recreation Committee

Advise and assist the Board of Directors in developing, operating, and overseeing the recreational facilities and the community’s athletic program.

Technology Committee

Advises and assists the Board of Directors on technology issues that impact residents, infrastructure, environment, and general management of the Association.  The committee’s scope is not limited to any particular type of technology or technical field.

Transportation and Land Use Committee

Advises and assists the Board of Directors on city, regional, and state transportation and land use issues that could impact residents, buildings, roadways, aesthetics, and the environment of the Association.  Specifically, the committee would monitor, review, and make recommendations on development projects in or in the vicinity of Parkfairfax.

Woodlands Committee

The Woodlands Committee is dedicated to preserving the natural beauty of the Parkfairfax woodlands.  The Woodlands Committee works to protect and restore trees and plants native to Northern Virginia in the 7 separate woodland areas of Parkfairfax.
