On Saturday, June 18, the Building and Utilities Committee (BUC) sponsored the very first "Parkfairfax Renovation Seminar" featuring kitchen renovations.  Our very first speaker was Danny Gibbs, Deputy Maintenance Director, who provided expert commentary on the internal construction of our units and fielded questions from residents. Danny provided first-hand knowledge of Parkfairfax's unique construction and idiosyncrasies (for example, small door entryways) that often make renovations at Parkfairfax an atypical experience.  In addition, four Parkfairfax residents enthusiastically described their kitchen renovations, provided vivid photo displays of the final renovation, and shared "tips" with other residents on how to approach kitchen renovations.
